How do I know the lawyers are verified?
Every lawyer on Advoca undergoes a strict verification process. We validate their Call to Bar certificates, government IDs, and practice status with relevant legal bodies before they can accept briefs on our platform.
Is it free to use Advoca?
For clients, signing up and posting a brief is completely free. You only pay the agreed legal fees when you hire a lawyer. Advoca charges a small service fee on successful transactions to maintain the platform.
Can I find lawyers in my specific location?
Yes! You can search for lawyers by location (State, City) and practice area (e.g., Family Law, Corporate, Criminal Defense) to find the perfect match near you.
How does the escrow payment work?
To ensure safety for both parties, payments are held in our secure escrow system. The funds are only released to the lawyer when the agreed-upon milestones are completed and approved by you.
I am a lawyer. How can I receive brief requests?
Create a detailed profile, upload your credentials for verification, and set your rates. Once verified, you can send proposals to specific briefs created by clients or law firms seeking your expertise.
What if I have a dispute with a lawyer/client?
Advoca has a dedicated dispute resolution center. You can report an issue from your dashboard, and our support team will mediate based on the evidence and contract terms provided.
